The Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts (BEFFTA) awards is Europe’s biggest award ceremony celebrating achievements of black and ethnic personalities in showbiz globally.

Omotola, who is a multiple award-winning actress, is one of Africa's movie mega stars that is known globally. She has starred in many blockbusting films. She is ambassadors to Amnesty International and World Food Programme. Her Omotola Youth Empowerment Programme(OYEP) foundation has helped widows in Nigeria for a better living.
