The three-day event will feature a grand opening ceremony with a keynote address by the Vice-President, Namadi Sambo. The Nigerian Ambassador to France, Akin Fayomi; Minister of Culture, Tourism and National Orientation, Edem Duke and other government officials and captains of industry from Nigeria will be in attendance.
There will also be live stage performances by Nigerian musicians, as well as actors and actresses.
Other activities lined up to celebrate Nigeria in Paris between Nov. 16 and 18 include the screening of a documentary film portraying Nigerian and French cultures, arts, fashion and food.
One of the event managers, Bami Olateru-Olagbegi, says the event will continue to promote socio-cultural ties between France and Nigeria and friends of Nigeria in Europe in general.
Many Nigerian actors, actresses and musicians, including Joke Silva, Omoni Oboli, Desmond Elliot, Sir Shina Peters, Darey Art Alade, Pasuma Wonder, Omawumi, Iyanyan, Gbenga Adeyinka and Seyi Law are expected to attend the event.
