17YEARS OLD CHIEF KEEF SENTENCED TO 60 DAYS IN JAIL

Chi-town’s latest rap export, Chief Keef, has been sentenced to 60 days in jail for breaching his probation violation. Keef was said to have fired a rifle during an interview with Pitchfork Media back in September. The event comes as a direct breach of his 18 month probation after pointing a gun at a police officer back in December 2011.

Interestingly enough, it’s been cited that Pitchfork are the driving force behind his arrest. The attorney of Keef, real name Keith Cozart, construed the argument that theFinally Rich  superstar was simply following orders from those around him. His attorney Dennis Berkson maintains that the GBE star was not violating the spirit of his court order, as the interview took place at a gun range, as opposed to a music video.
However, this is 2013, and wherever possible, the use of online media can be detrimental, even more so for individuals associated with gangs. Judge Carl Anthony Walker drew for Keef’s Love Sosa video in court, using the single as an example of  his continued affiliation with drugs, guns and gang activity. The judge saw this as a ‘’clear disregard for the court’s authority.’’ Chief Keef will serve 60 days in prison as a result of perhaps unwittingly incriminating himself .
Moral of the story…don’t take to YouTube to showcase yourself firing a rifle, if you’re on probation.
The positive from this is that he’s still only 17.
